Nosisa is extensively trained in the full technology of study skills. This includes extensive experience in the handling of learners and helping them overcome any barriers they might encounter in pursuing their goals.

Prior to persuing her passion for helping others, Nosisa qualified as a Paediatrician from the University of the Witwatersrand and the College of Medicine South Africa. As a paediatrician in academic practice, she was involved in facilitating for medical students, junior doctors and allied medical personnel.

She brings to Upskill for Africa the knowledge, responsibility and control garnered from this varied career.

Desiree comes to Upskill for Africa with many years of experience in utilizing study skills, including extensive experience as a facilitator.

Prior to pursuing her passion of improving people's lives with study and other skills, Desiree garnered many years of experience in business administration. She was an integral part of growing the Servochem group of companies from a garage office in 1987 to a national group in 1998. Thereafter she joined the Brano group of companies and assisted in growing the Westrand branch from a small business to one of the main suppliers of garage door and security equipment in the Westrand. As the Editor of the Brano Tradenews for 5 years, she was responsible for growing it into a highly successful newsletter.
